Our Client is a prestigious multinational automotive supplier company. As a global company is presented in 41 countries and has 23000 employees. Their Global Shared Service Center, located in Budapest and Székesfehérvár, delivers IT and Financial Services to a number of Company sites.

The Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Company group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

We are looking for two new colleagues in the following positions:

SENIOR MASTER DATA CONTROLLER

Location: Budapest( district XI. ) or Székesfehérvár
According to your preference, you may choose our Budapest or Székesfehérvár office as your place of work.

Role Purpose: This is a key role in the Master Data team and will work closely with business and IT partners to ensure the integrity, reliability, and consistency of our Master Data. Additionally, he/she will assist in reviewing Functional Specification Documents, testing enhancements, and ensuring the overall data in the system meets the needs of the business. He/she will participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of process improvement.

Responsibilities:

End to end responsibility for Customer and Vendor master data related process,
Take an active role in the development of team members and knowledge sharing to enable coverage for times of absences,
Make sure that all master data SLAs are aligned and meet with the goals and strategy,
Support internal and external audits by providing the necessary evidence on time and also act as Subject Matter Expert during the audit process when it is necessary,
Manage, analyze and resolve data initiative issues and manage revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards,
Ensures master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality,
Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies,
Deliver project-related services/ activities;
Reviews process, functional and development specifications,
Conducts system testing by documenting and providing test results to the support team, initiate incident tickets in case of system discrepancies,
Assists in data migration strategies for importing data into SAP,
Deliver change management related service,
Review Master Data objects for quality, completeness, and overall integrity of key data elements and provide remediation recommendations for data cleansing,
Coordinates all communication including organizational change management and end-user training pertaining to Master Data,
Drive changes that simplify the data collection and maintenance,
Assist with the design, testing, and implementation of new process and/or enhancements to the systems that support master data,
Ability to make a detailed analysis, summarize findings, and communicate effectively to management and team members.

Requirements:

At least secondary school education,
2+ years? experience in Master Data Management (preferably vendor & customer master data),
Experience in Shared Service environment and/or have financial background,
ERP experience, preferably in SAP,
Able to understand and investigate topics related to multiple business areas,
Analytically minded and methodical problem solver,
Very good interpersonal skills with excellent customer service and ?can-do ?mentality,
Willingness to work in a flexible schedule if required,
Able to work under pressure during peak period, and excellence in meeting the deadline,
Experience working on projects including testing, process, and user guides writing,
Effective communication skills - must have good verbal and written English language skills.
